Student Exchange

Exchange student, Clement LeFrancq is from Marquillies, France for the Youth Exchange Program 2009-2010. Clement, shown with Rotarian John Donnelly attended Lyme-Old Lyme High School during his stay here.

Sofia Portukhay is from Ukraine. Sofia attended the Old Saybrook High School as well as Westbrook High while here. She did very well academically and became involved in many activities during her 3 month stay.

Zurab "Zuka" Shonia, our youth exchange student from Georgia arrived on August 15, 2008. Zuka is 16, plays soccer, skiing and tennis, is fluent in English as well as Russian and his native Georgian. He has a very good academic record from the school he attends. He appears to be a well rounded young man who can adapt to just about any situation.
