Announcements:
    Zuka, our foreign exchange student, will be going home to Georgia this Tuesday
    Peter recognized the following people who had perfect attendance for the year: Mike Velgouse, Gerri Lewis and Peter Manley. Several others had perfect attendance for 3 out of the 4 quarters.
  
Presentations:
    John Donnelly presented Alex Allison Jr. a certificate for attaining his GED.
    As outgoing President, Peter Manley talked about his year and the many accomplishments of the club in his year. Peter is proud to be a Rotarian and proud of the Old Saybrook Club for the many projects undertaken that benefit the community and mankind. 
    Peter had a special award for Bill Suits for making our meetings truly enjoyable. Bill was unable to attend but he received a rousing show of applause. Bill always has a joke or two to get our meetings going - well deserved.
    Lynn Faulstick, the Assistant Dist. Governor for the past 3 years installed Gerri as the new ADG for area 10. Lynn considers our club to be special to  her. Lynn recognized Gerri for her committment and hard work as well as her fine year as President.

Installation of New Officers:
    Peter Manley turned the gavel over to Bob Chase and the new officers were installed. Peter accepts his Gavel-Plaque to commemorate his year as President.

    In his acceptance, Bob Chase talked about his goals for the coming year. He started by saying that based on his observations at PETS (President-Elect Training Seminar), our club is way ahead of the curve in terms of activities and accomplishments. Bob predicts a successful year and outlined four areas of focus:
1.    Increasing membership and getting new younger members
2.    Increasing the clubs pledges to the RI Foundation
3.    Updating the club bylaws
4.    Club participation in higher profile RI programs and taking advantage of matching grants when possible.
