o       Happy Bucks – happy for a little of this, and a little of that… and Charlie’s son scheduled to appear tomorrow.

·        Since both Pres Bob and Treas John were not present, there was no business meeting.

·        Gerri read a letter from the Town of Old Saybrook looking for volunteers to get together and talk about ways to help people in need. Keith & Bill will attend. Keith wants the town to know about of Outreach and Warm the Children programs.

·        Jason and Bill Bernhart updated the group on the WTC project and Bill outlined the work that Jason and Walt do behind the scenes. They were recognized with a round of applause.

·        Lee announced that it is our exchange student’s birthday. Give her a call or an email.

·        Keith and Gerri attended a Pre PETS meeting and reminded the club that the District Conference is scheduled for May 1-3, 2009 in Newport, RI. These are fun, and very Rotary educational. Get there if you can.

·        The meeting ended with a good discussion of the Old Saybrook reassessment and appeal process.
