Discussion of club budget: voted to change line item re: AG expense from $500.00 to $1,000.00 with District reimburse $500.00 Vote taken to accept budget, passed.
Discussed undefined fundraiser plans are to do this in the Spring 2010. All think about ideas for an event.
Lets get a group together to organize this.
Treasurer's Report: reviewed numbers ,, income & expenses, all is in order.
John Donnelly reported on the need for a Club involvement in a literacy program. Ala Principal Brown, Goodwin School, we have a need to assist parents of students with English as a second language. Youth & Family services have a programs to assist early child development, especially with reading. The need is there all we have to do is get involved. John will organize a group to gather more information and move froward.
Ideas discussed for a dinner meeting later this month. Most felt we should have a dinner at the Point.
