Today’s Program: “World Affairs Seminar”, Amber Scherber
Zach Jacobs and Holly Coppes were selected to attend the “World Affairs Seminar “at Carroll University in Wisconsin, June 25– July 1, 2016. The topic covered was “Global Water Resources”. Zach and Holly presented a slide presentation of their experience, the issues we face from preservation, sanitation and industrial. They took field trips to Lake Michigan, The Great Lakes Water Consortium and other companies that focus on water. Their responsibility was to work with other attendees, define issues and come up with ways to solve problems affecting the water supply. Zach and Holly expressed their experience, concerns, a greater understanding of the importance of our water supply around the world and met many new friends and acquaintances who live in different parts of the world. They both were extremely appreciative to Rotary for giving them the opportunity to attend this worthwhile seminar.

Five Way Test of the things we think, say, or do
1) Is it the truth?
2) Is it fair to all concerned?
3) Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
5) Is it fun? (This one is unofficial but we put it in anyway)
