Mark Caldarella looked into a new tent for the club to give us a clear identity for public functions such as the Arts & Crafts Festival. There were 2 sizes, 10x10 and 10x20'. The top has the Rotary emblem on it and is blue in color. The club voted and passed to spend $1,089 for the larger tent which is also the size of our spot at the Arts & Crafts Festival.

Pat Settembrino has been working on shirts for the membership. This goes along with enhancing the club image when doing public functions. The shirts will cost $32, the club will pay $22 making your cost $10. They will be royal blue to match the banner color. Please give Pat your size.

The club welcomed our newest member to the club (formal induction to follow). Gary McCauley's background is education. He taught for many years in Massachusettes and was a middle school Principal. Gary and his wife came to Old Saybrook in 2011 and he retired in October. He met his wife Pam at a YMCA camp  and they've been married for 47 years. They have 2 sons who each have 3 children of their own. Gary has been active in church and has served on school boards. Gary is happy to join Rotary, saying its an excellent way to be more involved in the community.

There was a board meeting following the regular meeting.
