Program: Tari Marshall-Day

Tari spoke about the “state of Rotary” and encouraged us not to let Rotary die. Membership is growing in non-English speaking countries but is shrinking in the English speaking countries. She thinks this drop may be caused by a lack of diversity and flexibility.  Worldwide membership remains at 1.2 million members. Tari suggests that clubs should become more flexible in scheduling meetings and investigate the option of e-clubs. She concluded with a summary of “wow moments” the Rotary has provided for her and her son. Tari will email information about Passport Membership and how it can help local clubs increase their membership. Tari’s raffle results: Gary won a calendar from Spain and Gene won a pocket protector. (Another wow moment)
