This is our favorite meeting, as Jan stated, because we get to see and hear from outstanding students the club works hard to support. The students here today were chosen by faculty in the subject areas. They were presented with a small monetary gift and, in addition, the club also makes a contribution to Polio Plus, the Rotary International program that is working to irradicate Polio, in their names. Thanks to the Polio Plus program, the dreaded disease is almost 100% erradicated in the world.
