Program: Devin Carney introduced Greg Stroud of the CT Examiner

ctexaminer.com

Greg is proud of his startup, online news reporting digest CT Examiner. CT Examiner provides news about our local communities in a totally online platform. Its free, there is no advertising, and non-partisan. Greg has always been active in local issues such as fighting a plan to put a train track through the middle of East Lyme. A conversation with a local realtor convinced Greg to start this venture - online local news. They started with 2 reporters and soon added another. They ask big questions in small places. CT Examiner will cover board of education meetings, town meetings, zoning issues and just about anything that effects people of the local area. CT Examiner covers New London, Waterford, Stonington, Mystic, East Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Essex. With news staffs being cut back across the country at traditional newspapers, CT Examiner provides a different approach. Once you subscribe (for free) you will receive the Sunday Digest of news and opinion pieces at 5am right to your email box. Go to ctexaminer.com to subscribe.
