Marty and Mark Patterson have visited the Deep River and Clinton clubs so far to promote the event. Information has been entered into the district website.

Welcome guests: Pam, Linda, Mary Cherise, Judy, Gene, Tim, Sandi, and more. We had a great turnout and the folks at the Old Lyme Country Club did an outstanding job! Thanks Bill O'Shaughnessy for arranging the venue!

Paul Harris Awards: Brent Taylor
Brent said some opening remarks. The club donates $1,000 in the recipient's name to RI. We actually had some credits and are now catching up after a few years of no PH awards. The club's first recipient was Lindsay Shepard in 1978 for her support of the club and community. You don't have to be a member of the club to receive a PH. Sandi Taylor was given the award for her work in the club including the golf tournament for many years.

Seated from left to right are Kathy Callinan, Sam Fulginiti and Joan Michaud.
Standing left to right: Brent Taylor (committee chair) and Gary McCauley (club President)

Kathy has been very active in all her time in Rotary. She currently serves as the club Treasurer, a post she has held for two years now. She is key to the success of projects especially the wine tasting, heading up the financial functions. Kathy is always ready to help out and is true to the ideals of Rotary - Service Above Self.

Sam served as our President during a difficult time. He kept the club focused and always led with a bright and optimistic attitude. We all love Sam's personality and sense of humor! Sam is very supportive of club functions.

Joan has been in the club for over 25 years. Joan has always been very active, participating and leading club functions. She is the consumate team player and a pleasure to be around.

Gary closed by saying he is proud to be a part of this special club that does so many good things. Our three PH awardees embody all that is good about Rotary!
