Happy Bucks: Many for the successful Macaroni Dinner, the group effort, the spouses, the grandkids, and organizational skills of John A. and his crew. Alan for his trip to Vermont and Christina for her tomatoes continuing to grow in this great weather.

President’s Update:

     Still awaiting word about the Westbrook Foundation’s Grant.

     Any past president who is interested in being nominated for District Governor, contact Gary.

     Gary has accepted a position on the Old Saybrook School District’s Strategic Planning Committee. The committee will set the course of the school district for the next 5 years.

Mask donation to Middlesex Health will take place on Monday the 26th at 9:00am at the Clinic in Westbrook. At 9:30 we will also donate shopping bags and packaged utensils left over from the Macaroni Dinner to the Soup Kitchen.

Dinner Update:  John A. proclaimed the Dinner was a huge success and announced the following financial report: Income from ticket sales and sponsors ($4,700 + $1,400) = $6,100
                                            Expenses $2,500 - Profit $3,600
333 meals were served
including 11 meals that were given to first responders. $84.00 was also collected for the annual Turkey Drive.

The annual Wine Tasting/Auction Event to be held on February 5, 2021 was postponed to a later date in the Spring/Summer due to the COVID-19 virus.

Other Topics:

            Rotary apparel options were discussed.

            Outreach will present three requests via email.
