PROGRAM

Bill McL introduced our speaker, and fellow Rotarian, State Representative Devin Carney. Devin has been invited to speak about the happenings in the legislature during this Spring Session.

Devin is the ranking member of the Transportation Committee, a member of the Finance Committee, and the Education Committee.

Many issues are before the Legislature the most notable is the budget. Connecticut has a large long-term debt, with many unfunded mandates and fixed costs.
