President’s Update: A check was presented to SARAH Inc. on 3/23/21; additional PPE masks are available. See Gary with ideas about who should get them; Gary has successfully completed (with distinction) the 6 session president elect training program; the order for Rotary Shirts and Hats is being sent in. Contact Alan to get in on this once in a lifetime offer!

Discussion: Community Action Items:
            Discussion centered around possible “long term” projects that would benefit Old Saybrook, Westbrook, and Old Lyme. Decisions to be made at the 3/31 meeting.
            The application deadline for the Community Foundation of Middlesex County is April 6th. We will be asking for a grant to purchase gift cards to local stores and restaurants to be distributed to those in need.

            The Club voted to spend $1,500.00 to become the primary sponsor of the Summer Concert on the Green series. This is an annual event run by the Old Saybrook Park and Rec. We will be able to set up a “booth” to hand out information and snacks.

Fundraising:
            Shredding Event is all set to go! April 17th, OSHS parking lot, 9am to noon, $5 per box. Freebies!! (Letter opener and coupons) Volunteers needed, Contact John A.

Committee Reports:
            Website: the major upgrade is underway and will be completed in about three months.
            Speakers: Contact Bill McLaughlin with the names of people interested in speaking at our meetings.
