Keith going to India in a couple of weeks, he will meet with Rotarians there to discuss a small mutual project.
Glen mentioned RYLA will be starting on March 15^th, we need driver volunteers to drive students to Stratford.
Brent/Gerri, spoke of getting out to solicit for the Golf Tournament Thursday May 23^rd.

Working on school safety after Newtown shooting. State proposes better design security, improve awareness on all levels, students, faculty, community, first responders.

The Governors budget, last year state ran a 365 million dollar deficit, raised taxes and already this year, proposed budget is showing a 131 million deficit. Appropriations committee is working to cut spending, which is an increase of nine per cent over last year. A lot of increase is due to increased Medicaid spending for low income adults because of Obamacare. Also trying to cut fraud, our State debt is now $49,000 for every man, woman and child in the State. Commission is working on pensions of State employees, attempting to move to a defined contribution.
