Many club members attended the service at Waters Edge honoring the memory of Al Lindquist. His 3 children articulated so well what we all knew - that their father was a caring, considerate person with an upbeat personality who always had a smile and kind word. Al loved skiing, sailing, traveling the country, hiking and outdoor activities with his family. He worked for IBM for 43 years and was a member of Rotary for many years both in Bow, NH and Old Saybrook.
To honor Al, today's regular meeting was cancelled with most members attending this wonderful tribute to Al. We are all better off for having known Al, who Allison said left the world a better place for his contributions.
