Gerri- nice to to see Charlie Renshaw, new member, Jason, amber eric and Sam.
Gerri read Thank you's from children who received new dictionaries. Some of the comments were, like the sign language, learned the longest word in the dictionary, excited to learn more as 3rd graders don't know alot, changes lives into better ones and several asked at the end, "How are we doing".
Fundariser sponsored by, Essex, Deep River and Mystic Rotary clubs on Tuesday, Feburary 28th at the Estuary. Tickets are $20.00. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30, dinner at 6:30 and there is a 50/50 raffle. All are welcome to attend. Please notify President Gerri if you will be attending.
Next weeks meeting, Wednesday, January 29th is at RIO Cafe on Main Street.
Program:
Marty & Gerri spoke about the upcoming Wine Tasting & Silent Auction on Feb. 7th. Time is running out so we must all work to sell tickets, get sponsors and obtain those auction items. Marty has flyers, extra tickets and forms. Forms can be downloaded from our website in the members only area. We still have a long way to go so any support you can give will be appreciated. Kick it up a notch, make phone calls, visit with businesses and remember to follow up.
E-Mail Marty a list of all auctions items so he can add to the list for updating purposes and bring all items to Wednesday's meeting for Gerri to collect.
