VISITING ROTARIAN: NONE ANNOUNCEMENTS Next week DARE Program, Remember E R E Y $100.00 every year PROGRAM Glen Andersen introduced the RYLA students, Samantha Lee and Austin Pilgrim, Lyme/Old Lyme High School, Sam Lyman and Samantha Aimone, Old Saybrook High School and Leah Madison-Cherry, Westbrook High School. The students jointly talked about the weekend experience at Camp Hazen. At Camp they discussed leadership programs, ala given parameters they developed a plan of action, developed team building and went to work on the plan. The group was introduced to social skills, such as shaking hands, greeting people, and how to work on non verbal communication skills. The attendees were broken into groups developed a plan of action on a problem of their choice and awards were given for the best plan, $500.00 to the winning project. All students expressed thanks to The Rotary Club of Old Saybrook for supporting them in this leadership program. At the conclusion Glen presented each attendee with a certificate of completion.
