FOUNDATION BUDGET The finished budget was presented to The Club by Charlie Norz and Marty Drobiarz, incoming chair of the foundation. Glen Anderson asked that stipend monies be included to compensate Caitlin Eichler Interact Advisor Westbrook High School. Foundation will take under advisement. Paul Moore off the Board, Peter Zucco on. 7% paid out last year Foundation started @ $650,000 ended @ $630,000 INTERNATIONAL SERVICE John D reported that Steve Mecca is back from Ghana, schools are doing well, computers and monitors are now needed, and they save money. YOUTH EXCHANGE Glen A reported that we have one host family for Frank from Taiwan, Leah Cherry and Logan Muckle are working with Glen to secure additional families. Will contact Bob Hale for assistance. DMG ACTON LIBRARY Computer training has begun. Last eve Sam Perdu conducted the first beginning computer training session. There were five students, and seven teaching assistant from The Rotary Club of Old Saybrook, John Donnelly and his niece Anita, Bill McLaughlin and his granddaughter Grace, Glen Anderson, Peter Zucco, and Bill O'Shaughnessy. Next session will be Tuesday August 4, 2015 6:30 P M Acton Library. Great start.
