GLOBAL Warming achieved serious attention in the 1980s with the development of sophisticated computer
codes to predict C02 increases impact on temperature rise. The IPCC was formed by the UN in 1989 to analyze
published data on GW and predict the future. They issue a report every 5 years. AI Gore's publication and
movie production of "An Inconvenient Truth" publicized and made the public aware of GW. Their bottom line
is man is responsible for GW by C02 emissions and can be controlled by government laws restricting C02
emissions. Cap & Trade laws are already passed and implemented and are paid for by utility customers. The
costs now are small but real, and the future implementation of C02 emissions control will double the cost of
electricity. The problem I have with the IPCC/Gore analysis is there is no experimental documentation of the
computer codes and critical assumptions are made in implementing the codes. The predictions of the codes is
the only output and the only source used for predicting GW. Their predictions for Temperature rise in 2100 is
3.5 to 4.8 deg. C and sea level rise of 59cm.

Through my research, I have found 4 experimental results that refute C02 as the cause of global warming.

1.      In the present time period, from 1950 to 2015, the concentration of C02 in the atmosphere has
increased from 320 ppm to 400 ppm. From ice core data the temperature rise has oscillated
between14 and 13 deg. C with a mean or average temperature of 13.5 deg. c., for the last 10,000
years. This is verified by modern satellite measurements of the global temperature of 13.5 deg. C, over
the time period from1970 to 2009. The increase in C02 of 80 ppm did not result in any appreciable rise
in temperature. For comparison as pointed out by IPCC/Gore the temperature rise to from 20,000 to
10,000 years ago the temperature rise was 9 deg. C and the C02 rise was 60 ppm. From this data alone
we can draw the conclusion that C02 is not causing a temperature rise.

2.      The computer codes have a unique signature; If global warming is caused by the green house effect
the infrared radiation from the earth to space decreases with increasing temperature. This is counter
to intuition. NASA launched 2 satellite programs to measure the IR radiation leaving the atmosphere.
The data from both these programs showed that the IR radiation leaving the atmosphere increased
with the increase in the earth's temperature. These results refute the computer code's validity.

3.     The Green House gases in the atmosphere absorb the earth,s Ir radiation which heats the atmosphere.

This heat is transferred back to the earth and heats it up. The Co2 decreases with altitude and the heat
transfer from the heated atmosphere decreases with altitude These 2 competing effects result in a
predicted maximum in the temperature at an altitude of 10 kms. So the temperature profile increases
from the earth's surface to 10 km and then decreases. The computer codes show this thumb print. In
the 1990s radiosones were launched to measure the temperature rise as a function of altitude. This
data showed no maximum in the temperature rise at 10 km or any other altitude. These results also
refute the computer codes and says that the Green house effect is not causing GW.

4.      The computer code is used by the IPCC/Gore proponents to predict the earth's temperature based on
the measured C02 concentration. Their prediction for 2014 is 0.75 deg. C. The NASA satellite measured
temperature for 2014 is 0.26 deg. C. This factor of 3 error is unacceptable and says the code based on
C02 induced GW is wrong.
