Happy Bucks: Happy Joe Arcari made it this far, for all our guests today, for the students, for the beautiful day, for the Chamber Annual dinner at Saybrook Point last night, happy for the Dictionary Project and that it is wrapping up, happy to see Andy back and for the Wreaths Across America.

Announcements:
Jan Peruccio
Gave a background on "Wreaths Across America". There were 17 trailers who stopped by the OS High School and particpated in assembly at the end of day. OS Rotary donated $500.00 to the program.

Gerri Lewis:

  • Meals on Wheels- Sandra Miller
  • Holiday Celebration is December 16th at Luigis Restuarant. Please bring a grab bag.
  • Thank you to Amber and all Rotarians who attended last Saturdays 2nd annual Jingle Bell Run. There were 71 runners and walkers and it was a huge success. Amber thanked Rotary for purchasing the food for the event.

Marty Drobiarz:
Torchlight parade is Saturday, December 12th. All particpants need to attend quick meeting after todays meeting.

Lyme/Old Lyme: Allison Marsh
Allie's teacher describe her as a leader who has an infectious smile. She is creative, scholary who has a deep interst in film. Next year she will be taking a US History film course. Allies's future plans are to major in digital media/film with a minor in history.

Westbrook: Austin Farr
Austin's teachers describe him as a top performer  who has a creative side and brings a lot of fun and laughter to class. He is in the top 10% of his class and is a great example of the Rotary motto, "Service above Self". Austin will be attending the University of New Haven and plans to study Criminal Justice.

Old Saybrook: Tenzin Rabjam
Tenzin was unable to attend today's meeting.

Request for Donation: Bill O'Shaughnessy
Bill is requesting 2 new workstations and computors for the Library in Old Lyme. The total cost is $4,600.00. Bill suggested a donation of $1,500.00.
Brent made motion for $1,500.00, Gerri seconded, All-in-Favor. Motion passed.

Brent thanked Charlie for his 14 years of dedication to the Dictionary Project and for all his hardwork over the years. Thank you Charlie!
