Things are progressing well, already we are ahead of last year in sponsorships by $1000. Items continue to come in but we need to wrap it up in the next couple days so that everything gets into the program which goes to print by Wednesday Feb. 3. Ticket sales are very important and so far this has been lagging so put the push on! Don't forget to thank your donors and give them a thank you letter recognizing their contribution. Forms available in the members area of our website.

Kathy discussed a new initiative to make our club more accessible to new younger members and thats having lunch meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. Look for more information on venue, times, etc. A leading possibility is having a catered lunch at the Fred Astaire dance studio of Raelee. We have some great materials that explains what Rotary is about and what membership entails for a potential member.

We need programs - please let Gerri know if you have something in mind or a definite date for a speaker.

Gerri will be attending presidents orientation next Monday night in New Haven in preparation of her upcoming presidency.

Meeting concluded with our modified 5-Way test.

Five Way Test of the things we think, say, or do
    1) Is it the truth?
    2) Is it fair to all concerned?
    3) Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
    4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
    5) Is it fun? (This one is unofficial but we put it in anyway)
