Happy Bucks: Joe A. is happy to be back, Sheila is happy for her grandson being named defensive player of the year for his D1 basketball team, several for Mary (guest), many for the ChiliFest and the Wine Tasting Events. We are all happy that Gary was able to join us looking healthy as ever.
Club Business:
We received a request from Warm the Children for financial aid as they have run out of funds for this year’s program. The Club voted to contribute $2,000 toward their fundraising efforts.
The Club voted to modify our meeting schedule. Starting in April, the first meeting of the month will be held at the Estuary at 7:00 am. The second meeting of the month (Student of the Month) will be held at Saybrook Point Resort and Marina at 7:00 am. The third and fourth meetings will be held at the VFW at noon. The fifth meeting will be an evening social event.
We will continue to pay individually for meals at the meetings. Breakfast: $5 at the Estuary and $25 at Saybrook Point, Lunch: $10. We are expected to pay whether we eat or not.

If you’re planning to attend the 3/6 Student of the Month meeting, please sign up ahead of time with Nancy. An accurate count is a must.
The District Governor, Christine Freedman, will be attending the May 8th meeting and will be addressing the issues concerning mental health.
The Club voted to pay $100/5 Rotarians to attend a dinner event at the New Haven Omni on March 11th. This is a chance to meet the Rotary International President Elect, Stephanie Urchick.

ChiliFest 3/2: Nancy updated the volunteer sign up. She assured the Club that even though this was our first time entering, we were going to win First Place.
Wine/Beer Tasting 4/12: Marty reported the He reminded us to check the website for the latest updates. Now is the time to sell those tickets!
Shredding Event 4/20: Sign up lists and work assignments will begin in a few weeks.
