Peace Pole donated by the Old Saybrook Rotary Club.
There will be a brief ceremony and members of the public, our students and the press are
welcome.
Join us in celebrating peace, unity, and community as we dedicate a Peace Pole, a
universally recognized symbol of hope and harmony, to be a public place of reflection and
enjoyment for many generations to come.
The ceremony will include brief remarks by state and local leaders, a moment of reflection
and the dedication of the Peace Pole, inscribed with, “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in
multiple languages.
All are welcome. Bring your family, friends, and a spirit of peace.
