Text of Email from North Branford

Dear Mrs. Perruccio-

We are writing to provide an update to our Kenyan global grant literacy project.  Please see the attached communication highlighting the status.  We greatly appreciate the financial support the Old Saybrook Rotary Club gave for this initiative in 2023.

While the Il Ngwesi Resource Center is now operational, we are working to bring eight affiliated satellite libraries to fruition. Our goal is to raise $7,500 to obtain a District Managed Grant to provide furnishings and general needed repairs.

We would appreciate an opportunity to visit your Club and share a PowerPoint presentation to show our progress on the global grant and the vision that DMG funding will provide.  Please let us know when you may have availability for an upcoming mutual meeting.  Thank you so much in advance for your interest in this request.

Sincere regards,
