3. Presenters: Special Performance by Nathan Wise – Iolanthe
Nathan will be singing a solo on October 25th at the 2pm matinee, "Lolanthe" (the 1882 satire of the British Parliament, and Liberals and Conservatives!) at Valley Regional HS in Deep River ... he'll sing a preview at our meeting October 22, to "drum up" interest. Nathan will perform in a full-dress British sentry guard uniform (including the tall black bear-fur hat, from a costume shop!) and it will make a real impression! The colorful theme of the comic opera might have an appeal - there's a women's chorus of fairies!
