Rotary Student Above Self Awards
Mile Creek School, Lyme School, Old Saybrook Middle School
Once again this year our Rotary Club is proud to present its annual "Rotary Student Above Self" award to an elementary and middle school student from each of the town's schools. The award is given to students for the following:
The student is a role model that exhibits "Service Above Self," helping others in school and in the community. The character of this individual promotes positive change that is beneficial to all concerned. The recipient is recognized as a leader, may have organized a classroom or community project to help those in need, and shows great compassion and kindness towards others.
