Announcements:

Wine and Beer Tasting on April 20. Marty updated the fast approaching event. He encouraged us to visit the website for additional forms, and recently updated donor/sponsor lists. Keep Marty informed as you visit and sign up donors and sponsors. See Marty if you are able to distribute flyers and posters.

Chilifest March 2, Noon to 3:00pm. The Club voted to sponsor the Chamber’s event ($500) in addition to participating by entering an award winning chili. Nancy all but guaranteed a first place finish. Given Nancy’s culinary training, I have to agree! Sign- up sheets were circulated for  two shifts of workers.

Shredding Day is scheduled for April 20

The Rotary Day of Service will be held in May. District will soon be sending out detailed information. The theme will be Mental Health Awareness.

Joan Winters reviewed the local publications available to us to inform our communities about our community outreach as well as our fundraisers. It was decided to form a committee to be in charge of organizing a 12 to 18 month “inform the community” action plan.

Next meeting will be February 7 at 6:00pm at the VFW.
