This was a very special night for me because of the recognition given by my fellow Rotarians. Marty's family including his 3 sisters Rosa, Sue, Marilyn, brother-in-law Mike Goldblatt, daughter Heather, son Jonathan, son-in-law Dan and 4 year old grandchild Sophia were there to share the moment. Unfortunately, Marty's wife Elizabeth could not attend due to Covid-19. Soon to be 
District Governor Tari Marshall-Dey spoke, Joan Winters regaled us with her violin (played Beatles tunes, Sinatra New York, New York) and the food was great.
President Gary McCauley and Bill McLaughlin presented the award followed by a few words from Marty. State Representative Devin Carney and Rotary member then presented Marty with a State Proclamation, another honor that wasn't expected. 
I am honored to play a part in what Rotary does for our communities with such fine people!
