President Gerri read a letter of resignation from "Bo" Henderson. "Bo" and Carol are moving to Colchester, CT

Our Holiday party is scheduled for Wednesday eve. December 20, 2006 at Frankie's Restaurant in Westbrook, time 6:00 PM  cost $32.00 per person. to day 32 have signed up to attend.

Our Old Saybrook High School Interact Club will be serving the Shoreline Soup Kitchen dinner this Saturday November 18 at the Old Lyme Congregational Church, Lyme Street, Old Lyme. The Club members will be in charge of the entire program including set up, food preparation, serving the dinner, and the clean up. They could use help. If you are interested be at the Old Lyme Congregational Church at 8:00 AM Saturday.

Marty Drobiarz and Rich Sullivan discussed the Wine Tasting and Silent Auction coming Friday evening December 2, 2006. Event will be held at Fireman's Field, time 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. the merchant list from last year was passed to one and all. Marty urged everyone to pick a merchant or merchants and solicit an auction item.

Sea Side Liquors is sponsoring the event furnishing the wine along with representatives from the various wine companies to talk about the wines, etc.

The idea of having five auction table sponsors was floated and accepted. The Old Saybrook Shopping Center, Matt Rubin, and Robinson, Wright, Weymer, Sam Fulginiti, each spoke for a table.  Thanks!!

Several members have sold all 6 tickets and the cash is in. Everyone keep going. An updated merchant list showing who has been contacted will be on the Web page so you can keep current.

Marty urged everyone to keep focused, obtain auction items, and sell tickets.

Later in the morning nine members had an escorted tour of the Nuclear Plant at Millstone Point. We visited the intake structure, the turbine/generator room, and the control room. A very interesting tour and we also enjoyed a nice lunch.  Wonderful
