    PROGRAM
Dennis Hallahan and Jim Bransfield gave us the history of Infiltrator Systems. The Company was started i 1986 by Jim Nichols and George Haines continued to grow and was sold to an equity firm Grand Partners Limited in 2005. At the peak Infiltrator Systems enjoyed a sales volume of $200,000,000.  Well done
The idea for a new system grew from Jim having his septic system replaced by Sid Holbrokes firm and thought why are we involved inn all of this work heavy concrete items , big equipment to lift and place, this can be done with plastics. Designs made and away they went.
H Q is in Old Saybrook with approx 30 employees, design, marketing, etc. The manufacturing plant is located in Winchester, KY, near Lexington, employees approx 190 plant located on 75 acres and comprises 4 buildings. Infiltrator uses approx 85  million lbs. of recycle plastic yearly a very green company. the main focus of the company is septic systems and storm water treatment.   Driving forces for the firm are new housing, resale of housing, replacement of worn out systems. they estimate there are approx 30 million septic systems need upgrading. There have been four full redesigns of the original system, company always improving their product line. In 2011 they brought out a plastic septic tank, the largest injection molded piece that we are aware of.
