Announcements:
Bill Suits: Outreach Committee meeting following the regular meeting
Keith: Todays planned program was cancelled due to the absence of the speaker. Instead, Keith will discuss the Board meeting of last Wedesday night.
John: All the students John has had contact with are working in the cleanup effort. The 108 students live in dormitories which are still standing but the staff building was destroyed as well as the building that housed the Norwich Diocese. The clinic our club supported in Jeremy was not destroyed however they are overwhelmed with patients and are running out of supplies. Our district has set up a fund for future donations once the dust settles and needs are identified.
Marty mentioned that anyone who ordered wine at the special price at our Wine Tasting can go to Seaside and pick them up. They may not put aside but they will honor the price.
Brent: The tournament committee has a decision to make in terms of the entry fee. Its always been $125 per golfer but our cost has steadily increased which erodes the amount we clear. The fee may have to be increased to $150 per golfer.

President Keith Wescovich:
Keith talked about the topics discussed at the Board meeting held at Acton Library last Wednesday night. Here are the topics discussed:
Peter Manley resigned from the Board and Bill White was voted in as his replacement
Ken Roche asked for and was granted a leave of absence. He is currently in Florida
How we handle funding for Gerri Lewis's expenses as Asst. District Gov was discussed. The club pays Gerri's e expenses and will eventully be reimbursed by the district.
We talked about hosting the Chamber Connections in May. We thought we had a date reserved however it seems we don't according to Matt Vogt. Paul will follow up on this. Bill O'Shaughnessy suggested we do a program on our own in the spring which would help the golf tournament and possibly help in new membership.
RI has a goal of each Rotarian donating $100 per year. Keith will discuss this next business meeting.
Doing more fun stuff during the meetings - recognizing birthdays and fining people whose picture appears in the newspaper are a couple of things we used to do and got away from.
Feb 27 is the Chamber's Annual Chile Contest. Should the club participate? Bill White will speak to Mark the Chef.
Discussion of an additional fundraiser took place. Some ideas were discussed - more on that later.
