Program: Jason Smith
This year, which has stretched out longer than past years has seen over 350 children benefit with coats and other articles of clothing. About $31,320 was spent. Although donations were down this year by about $9,000, we still have a reserve of about 1 year or $29,000. Social Services departments from the towns served provide the referrals, we do no screening. This program does not part of our budget but rather its a stand alone program. It is part of our foundation so that donations made are tax deductible. 60-70 shoppers accompany the children to Wal-Mart and $90 per child is allocated. While new winter clothing is the intention, there is some latitude allowing for other necessities by way of clothing to be purchased. It was suggested that the shopping take place earlier (Sep, Oct) in the season while the selection is better.

THE FOUR-WAY TEST

of the things we think, say or do
First...
    Is it the TRUTH ?
Second....
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Third....
Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Fourth....
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
