Program: Gerri presented April High School Students of the Month for Music
Lyme-Old Lyme: David Shoemaker, a member of the choral since 6th grade. David plans to pursue Music Education in college.
Old Saybrook: Joe Vilardi, Joe has always wanted to be a jazz guitarist and plunged in to learn as much as he could charting his own path as his teacher Jeremy Taylor said. Joe will continue in his jazz endeavors in college.
Westbrook: Julie Blum sings in the choir, the chamber ensemble, plays piano, writes her own music and enjoys classical and jazz. She is also an avid environmentalist and will study this subject at Gettysburg hopefully combining her love of music in creating films dealing about the environment and writing the music for it.
