Pres. Bill began by talking about Rotary ideals and referred to handouts he distributed that gave club information mostly taken from our club directory. The meeting was a sort of orientation for the new members and a review for the rest of us. Bill called on Charlie who gave a summation of his popular Dictionary Project, Bill Bernhart who discussed the RI Foundation and how money ultimately comes back to our district and club thru Ambassadorial & Cultural Scholarships, and Mike Velgouse who discussed the procedure for proposing new members, classifications, attendance and make-ups. Brent then got up and talked about the upcoming golf tournament. We then split up into teams and had our first organizational session. The date is May 25 at Portland Country Club. If you are not playing, please try and help by working either a half day or full day. There is much to do to pull this event off. Contact Marty if you want to help out. Everyone needs to work soliciting the golfers and sponsors and time is running out so go to it!
