Gerri gave Bill a handsome plaque as a rememberance of his special year as President.
The meeting ended with a talk from Dick Bensen, our former District Governor from Madison. He spoke of the International aspect of Rotary and the work that he has done. He told us to not be too focused on community projects, that there are places like Haiti that need help. Water filtration projects, Shelterbox's, Haitian Health Foundation, Dick's Kids and Happy Houses bring tremendous help to those living in poverty in third world countries.
John Donnelly needs a host family - please consider hosting a student from France for 3 months
