Program:
Juliane Bideau of  Brittany, France gave a bio of herself and talked about her historic home country. Along with her talk, Juliane provided handouts that allowed us to follow along.  Juliane is 19 years old and has been attending the Old Saybrook High School. She chose the US to learn English and discover a new culture. Juliane has also learned to be independent while away from her parents. Juliane has had three host families arrangned by John Donnelly - the van Vliets, the Dunlaps and the Flynns and a one week stay with Joan Camire. Juliane has participated in two varsity sports, tennis and basketball. Brittany, on the west coast of France, is the home of Mont-St. Michel, one of the seven wonders of the world. It was an abbey which became a prison during the French Revolution and closed in 1874.

Brent took over and talked about the tournament. Marty gave out job sheets to those who committed to working. We then broke for the ditty bag detail supervised by Bob A. and Sam.
