The 2026 Old Saybrook Rotary Club “Service Above Self” Award for an Old Saybrook Parks and Recreation student has been awarded to Ethan Reimer. This award honors a student who exemplifies exceptional role modeling thorough compassion, goodwill, and acts of kindness. The Teen Center/ “The Rec” student advocates for kindness, fostering a sense of community by promoting fairness and equity among peers. Above all, the student embodies the spirit of Rotary though their actions and character. Ethan’s name appears on a plaque that will hang in the Parks and Recreation Center.
