Old Saybrook Rotary will be holding its 2nd Annual Shred Day as part of the District’s “Get Behind the Wheel Day of Service” on April 9th. The Brent Taylor Scholarship will be awarded to a student who, in addition to the Club’s scholarship criteria, goes above and beyond in the area of community service and community involvement. Brent’s wife, Sandy, will participate in the scholarship presentation.
Wine Tasting/Auction: Still needed: Silent Auction items and Sponsors. See Marty for updated tickets and flyers.
Chili Fest: in addition to sponsoring the Chamber’s Event, O.S. Rotary will be setting up an Information Tent. The Chili Fest will be on 2/26 from noon to 3:00pm. Volunteers are needed to run the booth. See Gary if interested.
February Meetings will continue to be Zoom meetings at noon. At the 2/16 meeting, Dave Fowler, from “Bikes for Kids”, will be the guest speaker.
Committee Reports: The Foundation is investigating audit procedures. The Outreach Committee expects requests for funds from the Ghost Sign Committee. Michael Bender requested support for the Goodwin Gallup 5K Race Committee.
