Pat’s Updates: Shoreline Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM is sponsoring an excellent ad on radio station WBMW announcing our Wine Tasting/Auction Event. The Uganda Well Project will have our new well up and running within the next month. The District Day of Service is May 20, 2023. The Interact Clubs will be actively involved in the planning and follow up activities. The slate of officers for the upcoming year is as follows: President, Alan Schwarz; VP/President Elect, Nancy Morin; Secretary, John Giannini; Treasurer, Kathy Callinan; Sergeant at Arms, Pete Zucco.
Wine Tasting Update: Marty informed us that the big effort from now on should be TICKET SALES. Sponsors will exceed last year’s total. Deadline for sponsor information is Monday 2/27. Pete Z will be organizing a “Lottery Tree” to be used as a live auction item. Send your scratch off tickets to Pete, he will take care of “building the tree”.
Announcements:
Nancy reminded us of the Alzheimer’s March taking place in May in Waterford. The Club was in favor of donating as well as participating in the Walk. Details to follow.
The next meeting will be at the VFW Hall at NOON on 2/22.Lunch will be catered at a cost of $15pp.
