GOLF TOURNAMENT - Monday Sept. 14, Charlie Renshaw
Things are progressing but we still have a ways to go. To date we have 20 sponsors and 42 golfers both well short of our goals. Charlie mentioned that you don't need a full foursome to play - individual golfers are welcome and will be paired up. Alan and John G are in charge of the raffle. If you have a potential donor let them know so that multiple people don't solicit the same business or person. Remember, people can pay by credit card or Venmo at the tournament. John Aforismo handles the Venmo, Kathy Callinan will take care of credit cards.
On another note, Joan Winters is asking for suggestions for a place to mount the golf tournament banner. Should be a highly visible place preferably slow drive by.

- COMMITTEE ASIGNMENTS - PETE ZUCCO
You shouldn't think of chairing or serving on a committee as a full time job - it's not. It is important for the proper functioning of our club that we all participate on these important committees that target our activities and goals and insure success. No pressure - we are all volunteers and many hands make for light work! Pete handed out the committees (link to page - login/password needed) assignments as they are currently composed. Its available on the website and is subject to change. If you wish to serve on a particular committee, contact that committee chair and Pete. - Tara Winch thanked the club for approving the recent Outreach application for funds to provide school supplies for students. $1,000 was approved for Old Saybrook Youth & Family Services who will purchase and distribute the supplies.
