PROGRAM: Nathan Wise

Nathan began by giving a bit of background about Gilbert and Sullivan. It seems that they did not like each other and seldom if ever spoke to each other. Gilbert wrote the lyrics, sent them to Sullivan and he put the words to music. All the operas Gilbert & Sullivan wrote poked fun at British society and the British government. Iolanthe is no exception. Nathan will perform a solo as Pvt. Willis – of the Grenadier, in the performance, Saturday October 25th, Valley Regional High School, 2:00 PM. Nathan came dressed for the part and sang his solo for the group. A great introduction to what you can expect on stage. Nathan, well done!
