Since this was a special social evening night out, there was no formal program. Bob Hester paid tribute to Bill Suits by re-telling Bill's last joke (the one about the Indians and the government weather forcasters). We all laughed and remembered Bill fondly for always livening up the meetings by tellling a joke at every meeting. He will be missed as more than a fellow Rotarian but a friend who we all had the honor of knowing. May God bless Bill and his family.
Marty gave a report on the clubs participation at last Saturday nights Torchlight Parade. Marty thanked the following members who helped out: Stan Niemerski, Brent Taylor, Gerri Lewis, Andy Anderson, Joan Michaud, David Wight, Bob Hester, John Donnelly, Donna Lash, Mike Velgouse, and Bill Bernhart. Though donations were down this year, we had just enough to go around and 8 containers of hot chocolate was just enough. Marty advised Brent to use more hot chocolate as this years batch was very weak - Brent says it was the Swiss Miss.
