Program:
Eileen Baker is a member of the Old Saybrook Board of Education and an educator for the deaf. Eileen visited the club earlier and told of a boy from El Salvadore who was born without both outer ears. The boys father, Orlando Flores, who lives and works in Westbrook was present. The club donated $800 for new hearing aids for Edwin who is now 14 years old. His last hearing aids were given when he was 5 years of age. Eileen showed pictures of Edwin being fitted and Orlando thanked the club in Spanish and English. They are extremely appreciative for this gift.
