Happy $'s:  Many for our students, parents and guests.  Many for use of the Gladeview
     facility while the Pavilion is being renovated.

President's Announcements:     
   
Thanks to Gladeview for allowing us to have our meeting there.  The Director welcomed
    us and told us a few things about the facility - it's privately owned with an on-site 
    owner, Linda Silberstein, who was also present.
    There was a short Board meeting right after the regular meeting.
    There was no Flim/Flam or raffle due to the change of venue.

New Member Induction:   John Bubello,  proposed by Lee David was brought into the club by Gerri Lewis.  Welcome aboard!  Everyone be sure to welcome and greet him.


Student of the Month:  Carroll Bowser did the honors announcing our students and guests
    and making the presentations.  We had prior months recipients who couldn't make the
    earlier award presentations.  By town the awards went to:
    Westbrook:  
        December - Jordan Bean, for Social Studies and history.
        January -     Harlan Toussant for Science.
        February -    Kirstin Merrimarahajara for Foreign Language, Spanish, French & Italian.
        March -        Jake Crysler for Industrial Arts.  Built a phenominal dune buggy!
    Old Lyme:  
         February -   Megan Griffin for Language, French, Spanish & Chinese.  Also 
                           President of Nat'l Honor Society.
         March -       Salvatore Fava for Technology & Eng. Design.  On robotics team and
                           Audiovisual assistance for stage performances.  Also active in Habitat
                           for Humanity.
    Old Saybrook:  
        February -     Sara Van Der Horst for Languages.  Taking 3 AP courses and active in 
                            drama club and music.
        March -         Chris Huang for Eng. Design & Robotics.  Active in the school building 
                            an electric car to compete at Lyme rock.  Also on tennis team and plans to 
                            pursue ME at a Boston University.
