Announcements:
The Kate is holding a sponsers thank you, see President Keith for details.
Brent talked about the golf tourney. We need to get the sponsers and donors, see
your team captain with questions and assignments. We're still looking for ditty bags
and more contents. Joan Michaud got our insurance for the 'hole-in-one' contests.
Paul Moore gave a treasurers report, no questions. It was requested that we have
a representative from Essex Financial speak to us about our investments. Bob Hester
will coordinate that activity.
Bill O'Shaughnessy reviewed the plans for the Chamber Open House on Thursday,
the 6th. A sign up sheet was passed around to be sure we had good representation
to promote and sell Rotary and to seek new member candidates. JAMSS is
providing the hor d'oeuvres and the Cordial Shop is giving us a discount on the wines,
We're hoping the Interact club will be represented by their advisors and maybe the
Westbrook H.S. principal.
John Donnelly indicated that the Interact Club is hosting a reception in the Woodworking
Shop at O.S. High School this Saturday from 3 to 5. This is where they are making a
shed for Habitat for Humanity. They plan to have a powerpoint presentation that we
hope to have at the Chamber Open House.
President Keith is planning to have an informal Board meeting next Wednesday at
5pm at the library. All Board members should touch base with him to confirm.
