Bob Antoniac: Please sign up to work at the Art Show this weekend. Many slots need to be filled.
Bill McLaughlin: Looking for volunteers to help set up for the Art Show. Be at the Town Green at 9am
John Donnelly: Looking for host families for Zuka our youth exchange student from Georgia who will be arriving on August 15. He will be staying temporarily with Joe and Joan Camire. We are in need of host families to provide a home for this young man in Old Saybrook for the academic year. We need three host families to split the hosting during his stay. Hosts do not have to have a child in high school although this often makes the exchange students integration into the school life a little easier. Zuka is 16, plays soccer, skiing and tennis, is fluent in English as well as Russian and his native Georgian. He has a very good academic record from the school he attends. He appears to be a well rounded young man who can adapt to just about any situation.

If you or anyone you know is interested in this wonderful opportunity, please contact John Donnelly at 860-399-9499 or 860-833-3205.
Angus: Talked to the club about being pro-active when it comes to your health. This involves knowing and understanding your medical records and history. There may be some health issues you need to address and understand and your doctor may not volunteer this information. Ran volunteered that you should ask to see your progress report which is done after a visit to your physician.
John Donnelly: Reminded everyone that the Lyme Disease Project is alive and well and still a district project.
Gerri: Gave Bill O'Shaughnessy a perfect attendance award (belatedly)
Al Lindquist: Talked about his upcoming trip with his family to Alaska in November. They start in Vancouver and the trip will be for 9 days.
Bob Chase: Spoke of his recent trip to Grand Caymen in the Carribean. Great time to go - not too busy this time of year,
